Remembering the history that makes Tennanah Lake
Ethel Crowley: “The year my father purchased the property, the winter of 1910, he…was able to attend the horse races…People came from far and wide to see these races…the horses used to gallop all around the lake. My father was very much surprised to see the crowd that these races drew.”
The history of Tennanah Lake is a long and storied one. The attached presentation (broken into two attachments) shows a few of these memories. Please send us your own memories to be incorporated in future posts.
