Welcome to Tennnanah Lake and the Tennanah Lake Taxpayer’s Association Website!

Tennanah Lake is a private lake in the most remote part of Sullivan County, New York.   With about 175 acres of lake and 3.5 miles of shoreline, property owners have enjoyed a pristine lake environment and a variety of recreational pursuits for generations.

The Tennanah Lake Taxpayers Association (“TLTA”) is a nonprofit, volunteer civic organization founded in 1952 to represent and promote the interests of property owners around the lake, to protect the lake and its environment, and to help residents come together throughout the year for both lake action and entertainment. The TLTA continues to achieve success—made possible by the combined efforts of members, committee chairs and officers.

As a lake property owner we encourage you to join the TLTA and also contribute your time and expertise to help continue the mission of the TLTA.  There are many reasons to renew your TLTA membership, to rejoin, or to join for the first time but perhaps the most important is knowing committed neighbors are actively working on your behalf to protect and preserve the beauty and high‐level of desirability that our lake and your properties enjoy.
